Swedish International School Estepona (Marbella) is an inclusive school with the ambition to welcome all students who wish to attend. In addition to teachers, the school employs a social pedagogue tasked with coordinating the various needs of all students, conducting educational assessments, and developing action plans. They also provide educational support to other teachers. However, being a small school with limited resources and facilities, there are constraints on the extent to which students with special needs can have their requirements met. Therefore, when applying, it’s important to include all relevant information. Any additional materials, aids, or potential extra teaching resources required are covered by the parents/guardians. Admission of a student with special needs is considered by the management and discussed with the guardian in each individual case.
